We understand church could be a little foreign to you, that’s why we will try very hard to help you feel at home.

What should I wear?

Clothes. That’s our only request! We are much more concerned about what’s going on inside a person than what they are wearing on the outside. If it helps you out, our pastors are usually in jeans. So just come as you are.

What's the music like?

We don’t own a pipe organ. Our live band usually consists of guitar, drums, bass + keys. No robes. No choir. No Shakespearean or latin lyrics. We like to sing songs that are deep in meaning but easy to understand so they can come from our hearts.

Do my kids sit with me?

They can if they want to but most likely they will want to be part of our amazing children’s programs run by Catalyst Kidz + Activate Youth. These include children from age 1 through to year 8. 

The age-appropriate rooms + experienced teachers will help your children learn about God in a relevant way, providing fun experiences that will help the teaching come alive in their hearts. 

Check-in for the kids programs is in the auditorium foyer prior to each Sunday service. 

We also have an unsupervised crèche with a live AV feed for parents to access so that they do not miss out on the service.

Will I be asked to give money?

If it’s your first time, we actually want you to keep your wallet in your pocket. Just come + experience a service at Catalyst. 

If you like it + become a regular here at Catalyst, giving is important but it is between you + God.

Will I be bored?

We sure hope not. A life connected to Jesus Christ should be fulfilling + rewarding. We intentionally plan weekend gatherings to engage your heart, mind + soul. We use music, audio visual, drama + powerful creative communication to help you connect with God in a meaningful way.

What is the overall environment like?

We strive to make you feel welcome as you put yourself in the position to connect with God. We even provide fresh coffee, pretty comfortable seating, + a casual environment that will set the tone for you to be more focused on God, + less concerned about the atmosphere around you.
