activate youth

If you're 12-17 years old (gr 7-12), Activate Youth is the place to be on a Friday night. It's fun, energising, empowering + life changing. Each week we hang out with friends, grow towards God + have heaps of fun along the way.

Activate believes that you are created with purpose; that you weren't made to watch your life from the sidelines as a spectator, but to live it to the full + really mean it. We are here to have heaps of fun + to support you through life while encouraging you to grow into your potential. Dinner starts at 6:30pm ($5 for food, $1.50 for soft drink can). Pick up time at 9pm.

When we gather together our nights typically contain the following elements;

  • Games - fun, interactive, all-in, energising, designed to help you learn + connect with one another.
  • Praise + worship - intentional time to honour God + lift up His name.
  • Message - relevant teaching from our youth leaders on topics ranging from relationships, purpose, understanding the Holy Spirit, social media - + the list goes on!
  • Connect Group time - time with other people of your age group to chat about life + how to encourage + pray for one another in your walk with God.

Once a term we also have Clan Wars - these are like school 'houses' + are game filled nights
celebrating how God made us to have FUN together with Him + one another.

Other events during the year include A2A Youth Conference in March, A2A Youth Camp in September,
Guest speaker nights + occasional outings! We're a church youth group + so much more.

For those in grades 6 + 7 we also run a special program called Revolution on Sunday mornings during the 2nd church service.
